Rachael Ray – Season 11 – Sept. 6 – CBS
Long-running talk show with celebrity interviews, health & lifestyle segments, make-overs, and featuring Ray’s culinary expertise.

Hosted by Harry Connick, Jr., this daytime entertainment show will include celebrity interviews, comedic segments, man-on-the-street interviews, human interest stories and audience participation.

Blindspot
– Season 2 –Sept. 14 – Universal/Warner Bros./NBC
A beautiful woman, with no memories of her past, is found naked in Times Square with her body fully covered in intricate tattoos. Her discovery sets off a vast and complex mystery that immediately ignites the attention of the FBI, which begins to follow the roadmap on her body into a larger conspiracy of crime, while bringing her closer to discovering the truth about her identity.

High Maintenance – Season 1 – Sept. 16 – HBO
Created and written by the married duo, Katja Blichfeld and Ben Sinclair, this show follows a Brooklyn man as he delivers to clients with neuroses as diverse as the city.

Gotham – Season 3 – Sept. 19 – Warner Bros./Fox
Gotham tells the story behind Detective James Gordon’s rise to prominence in Gotham City in the years before Batman’s arrival.

Kevin Can Wait – Season 1 –Sept.19 – Universal/Warner Bros./NBC
Kevin James returns to series television in an irresistible comedy about a newly retired police officer looking forward to quality time with his family—and his fellow retired cops. When his oldest daughter announces she’s dropping out of college to support her fiancé, Kevin knows his only choice is to move them both into his home to keep her in school. Bull – Season 1 – Sept. 20 – CBS
Michael Weatherly returns to CBS as the iconoclastic Dr. Jason Bull. Inspired by the early career of Dr. Phil McGraw, the series follows the brilliant, brash, and charming founder of a hugely successful trial consulting firm who uses a combination of remarkable insight into human nature, three Ph.D.s, and a top-notch team of experts to create winning strategies that tip the scales of justice in his clients’ favor. Law & Order SVU – Season 18 –Sept. 21 – NBC
Created by Emmy Award-winning producer Dick Wolf, “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” is the longest-running primetime drama currently on television. This hard-hitting and emotional series from NBC’s “Law & Order” brand chronicles the life and crimes of the Special Victims Unit of the New York City Police Department, an elite squad of detectives who investigate sexually based crimes.  (Participated in the New York State Production Credit program)

The Blacklist – Season 4 – Sept. 22 – Sony/NBC

Blue Bloods – Season 7 –Sept. 23 – CBS
Blue Bloods is a drama about a multi-generational family of cops dedicated to New York City law enforcement.

Quantico – Season 2 – Sept.25 – ABC
A diverse group of recruits has arrived at the FBI Quantico Base for training. Younger – Season 3 –Sept. 28 – TV Land
Younger follows 40-year-old Liza (Sutton Foster), a suddenly single mother who tries to get back into the working world, only to find out it’s nearly impossible to start at the bottom at her age. When a chance encounter with a 20-something guy at a bar convinces her she looks younger than she is, Liza tries to pass herself off as 26 – with the help of a makeover, courtesy of her best friend Maggie (Debi Mazar). Armed with new confidence, she lands a job as an assistant to the temperamental Diana (Shor) and teams up with her new co-worker and fellow 20-something Kelsey (Hilary Duff) to make it in the career of her dreams.

Crisis In Six Scenes – Season 1 – Sept.30 – Amazon
Woody Allen’s first TV series takes place in the 1960’s and stars the veteran filmmaker, Miley Cyrus, Elaine May, John Magaro, Rachel Brosnahan, Michael Rapaport, Becky Ann Baker, Lewis Black, Margaret Ladd, Joy Behar, Rebecca Schull, David Harbour and Christine Ebersole.

Deepwater Horizon – Sept. 30 – Summit Entertainment
On April 20th, 2010, one of the world’s largest man-made disasters occurred on the Deepwater Horizon in the Gulf of Mexico. Directed by Peter Berg (Lone Survivor), this story honors the brave men and women whose heroism would save many on board, and change everyone’s lives forever.

  • Thanks for posting this list. I have a friend who has been asking about shows and movies being filmed here when she comes to visit. I don’t live in the city area and hardly travel there but I know she wants to when she is here. I am going to e-mail this list to here right now!
